ABOUT ME
I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. I have experience working with adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, and life transitions. I support my clients in implementing boundaries and creating healthy relationships with others and themselves. I also have experience providing services to individuals that have experienced various levels of trauma including, sexual assault and domestic violence. I am dedicated to providing a safe, empathetic, and nonjudgmental space for individuals to heal and thrive. My therapeutic approach stems from compassion and empathy and providing a safe place for individuals to talk about the challenges that they are currently experiencing. I believe in meeting my clients where they are at in life and helping them walk on the path of their healing journey to a place that brings them comfort, happiness and peace of mind.
SPECIALTY FOCUS: FINDING HOPE IN ANXIETY AND TRAUMA
"Finding the light at the end of the tunnel" are words that I live by, but also encourages others to instill within themselves. Finding hope can be hard to see when life is full of twists and turns. But that does not mean that you have to go through it alone.
I specialize in helping individuals navigate through anxiety disorders and trauma, guiding them towards a path of healing and resilience. Anxiety and trauma can profoundly impact every aspect of one's life, from relationships and work to overall well-being. Through compassionate collaboration, I work with clients to explore the root causes of their distress, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and cultivate resilience in the face of adversity.
My approach integrates evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). These therapies are highly effective in addressing the underlying issues associated with anxiety and trauma, helping clients to regain a sense of control and empowerment in their lives.
Therapy is a collaborative effort between therapist and client, and I believe in working together as a team to come up with ways to cope with daily challenges. If you're ready to take the first step towards a brighter tomorrow, I invite you to reach out and schedule a consultation. Together, we can embark on a journey of healing and growth, empowering you to live a life that is rich in meaning and fulfillment. I look forward to walking alongside you on your path to healing.
I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see how I can help you.
