ABOUT ME

I graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and a minor in Educational Psychology. I received my master’s degree in counseling from Adler University with a specialization in sports and health psychology. I use evidence-based cognitive and behavioral models in my counseling. I work with youth, adults, and families. I am passionate about helping individuals explore their identity, adapting to life transitions, and unpacking traumatic experiences.

I focus on building a trusting therapeutic relationship to ensure the space needed to grow individually and holistically. I believe that individuals already have the tools within but may need help uncovering their strengths to flourish in their environments. I encourage individuals’ self-awareness while they explore issues impacting their lives. My warmth and easygoing nature make therapy feel hopeful and healing—and not scary! Take this journey of healing and growth with me!

ROLE TRANSITIONS, MAJOR LIFE CHANGES, PERFORMANCE-BASED ANXIETIES, AND FINDING SUCCESS

I support people in navigating uncertainty and role changes. I use my experience in sports psychology to help with performance-based anxieties through the use of coping skills and mental tools to handle the unique pressure and adversity that can come from high-level performance. I have applied this beyond the sports world to other high pressured, performance-based jobs and roles. In my current position, I apply my expertise in sports psychology to the birthing and delivery experience, as well as the adversities faced in early parenting.

Additionally, I am a sport psychology consultant working with athletes to develop their mental games to help them perform on and off the court.

I offer a free 15-minute phone consultation to see how I can help you.
